Here at PGS Global Logistics, headquartered in Mackadown Lane, Kitts Green, our commitment to sustainability drives every decision we make. We're thrilled to announce yet another milestone in our journey towards carbon neutrality: the addition of the Volvo FM EV 4x2 tractor to our expanding lineup of electric vehicles.

Over the years, we've been steadfast in our dedication to greener logistics solutions. Currently, we've invested in a fleet of 10 electric vehicles, strategically deployed within our warehouse facilities and on the road. Looking ahead to 2024, we're excited about further expanding our electric vehicle fleet, ensuring that sustainability remains at the forefront of our operations.

Our newest addition, an electric Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV), holds significant promise for revolutionizing our overnight trunking operations across the Pallet-Track network and APC Overnight parcel network. Charged exclusively from solar-generated energy at our state-of-the-art £12 million West Bromwich logistics hub, this HGV epitomizes our commitment to harnessing renewable resources for a cleaner, greener tomorrow.

Supplied by our trusted partners at the Hartshorne Group, the Volvo FM EV Globetrotter tractor unit boasts an array of impressive features, including six batteries producing 490kw (666bhp), full air suspension, Volvo dynamic steering, and I-See predictive cruise control. These cutting-edge specifications underscore our unwavering commitment to leveraging technology for sustainable transportation solutions.

Our Founder and Managing Director, Paul Eyles, is proud of the strides we're making towards sustainability. He emphasizes the transformative impact of our West Bromwich site, which not only supports our valued customers but also propels us closer to achieving our carbon neutrality goals. Being the first company in Birmingham to operate a fully-electric artic fills us with immense pride, showcasing the tangible benefits of our eco-site beyond just storage space.

Looking ahead, we're doubling down on our commitment to sustainability. With two new electric vans on order to enhance our APC Overnight parcel services, we're ensuring that local businesses have access to smarter and more sustainable service options. As our customers across West Bromwich and the wider West Midlands region prioritize environmental stewardship, we're dedicated to supporting their growth with innovative, eco-friendly solutions.

Our partnerships with APC Overnight and Pallet-Track reflect our shared commitment to sustainability and service excellence. Jonathan Smith, Chief Executive at APC Overnight, and Stuart Godman, CEO at Pallet-Track, both commend our proactive approach towards reducing environmental impact and setting new industry standards.

At PGS Global Logistics, we're not just moving goods; we're driving change. As we lead Birmingham's sustainable revolution, we invite you to join us on this transformative journey towards a cleaner, greener future.
